A two-day excursion to Karpenisi and the Prefecture of Fthiotida was carried out by I.N. Agios Stefanos Ptolemaistranslated

With the permission and blessing of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Floris, Mr. Irenaios, the Holy Church of Agios Stefanos and Osias Paraskevi of Epivatini Ptolemaida carried out a two-day pilgrimage to Karpenisi and to holy monasteries of Fthiotida Prefecture. During the first day, the pilgrims visited the Holy Monastery of Panagia Damastas. Afterwards, they went to the Holy Monastery of Agathon, where they worshiped the imperishable holy relic of Saint Vissarion of Agathonite, who has recently been included in the Holy Book of the Orthodox Church.

On the second day, the pilgrimage program included a visit to the historic Holy Monastery of Panagia Prousiotissa, one of the most important and well-known pilgrimages in Evrytania, with a centuries-old spiritual and historical presence. They performed holy supplication as well as super health Artoclasia.

Alongside their pilgrimage visits, the excursionists had the opportunity to enjoy the unique natural beauty of Karpenissi and the wider Eurytan landscape, where they stayed.

The pilgrims were accompanied by the Head of the Holy Church of Agios Stefanos, Archimandrite Timotheus Tsismalidis.
