Florinis Irenaios: "Saint Marina teaches us to face every trial with faith and prayer"translated

On Thursday, July 16, 2026 in the evening, the eve of the feast of the glorious Great Martyr Marina, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Floris, Prespa and Eordaia, Mr. Irenaios officiated at the High Priestly Vespers at the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior Ptolemais, whose underground Church is dedicated to Saint Marina, where the memory of the Saint is particularly honored in the Parish.

The solemn procession was attended by the Mayor of Eordaia, Mr. Panagiotis Plakentas, Deputy Mayors, members of the Municipal and Regional Councils, a representative of the Police Department, as well as representatives of local bodies.
