Baptism of 270 New Enlightened former Muslims by Dimitrios of Irinoupolistranslated

On Saturday, October 17, at the Missionary Center of Morogoro, in Eastern Tanzania, with the wishes and blessings of A.Th.M. of the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa etc. Theodore II, and like every year during this period for the last 22 years, 270 baptisms of neo-enlightened, former Muslims, from Eastern Tanzania took place. The 270 natives received holy baptism from the Reverend Mr. Dimitrios, (in total from 2004 until today more than 60,000 neophytes) and became members of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

After systematic indoctrination by the native High Priest Commissioner Protopr. Cleopas Bachuba and the seven priests of the area and with exemplary order, reverence and great joy came to the holy baptism and the first Holy Communion.

The joy of the 270 newly enlightened (all ex-Muslims) was truly touching, with faces shining with joy and happiness, they celebrated in their own African way their joining the Orthodox Church of the Missionary Metropolis of Irinoupolis!!!

This was followed by a "Love" meal, for all the new converts, an anonymous donation from Thessaloniki, in memory of Anastasia's parents...
