Archbishop Hieronymos to students: "Don't forget, trust the Church"translated

The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos from the 99th Primary School of Athens, where he performed the consecration this morning on the occasion of the start of the new school year, emphasizing that every child is special and has his own gifts, which parents and teachers must recognize and cultivate. The Archbishop was welcomed by the Mayor of Athens, Mr. Haris Doukas, the Director of the School, Mr. Ioannis Babaloukas, priests of the area, teachers, parents and students. The Archbishop was accompanied by the Director of his Office Mr. Ioannis S. Tsouras and the Archdeacon Dimitrios Fokianos.

Immediately after the consecration, the Archbishop expressed his joy for the image of the school, but also the special importance of the start of the new school year. Referring to the school facilities, which, as he said, he visited for the first time, he noted that, despite the fact that the school is located in a densely populated area, "it is a building that impresses and especially testifies to care"....
