Donation of apples to the Diocese of Kastoria from the Parish of the Assumption of the Virgin Marytranslated

The Parish of the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Toihiou, under the care of the Vicar and President of the Ecclesiastical Council, Father Iakovos Pneumonides, offered a ton of apples for the needs of the residents of the Holy Metropolis of Kastoria and the Nursing Home of Kastoria. This initiative is a practical manifestation of love for one's neighbor and contributes to the support of our fellow human beings in need.

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kastoria, Mr. Kallinikos, congratulates the active Reverend Fr. Iakovos Pneumonidis, the Church Council and the entire Toichio Parish for their commendable initiative and practical interest in the charitable work of our local Church.

At the same time, he warmly thanks the Uncle Jim company for the donation of apples and its valuable offer, wishing everyone health, strength and God's blessing.

With this offer, many of our fellow human beings in need, as well as the elderly housed in the Kastoria Nursing Home, will have the opportunity to enjoy the apples, the fruit of the donors' love and generosity.
