With special ecclesiastical splendor, sanctity and the participation of a large number of believers, on the eve of the feast, Sunday July 26, 2026, the Great Solemnity High Priestly Vespers was held on the occasion of the Holy Pandemou Solemnity of the co-patron of Bath of Edipsos, Saint Glorious Great Martyr and Iamatiko Panteleimonos, in the majestic Holy Church of the same name in the city. Николай СоловьёвIt must have been hot in the temple under such heat, but people still came in the thousands. It’s good that Metropolitan Theodore headed, and that the relics were carried out with the icon - you always feel how Saint Panteleimon really helps. Here in Kazan we also go to work in the heat, but not on such a scale.

Margaret EvansEven with that terrible heat wave they mentioned, thousands still came from all over North Evia. It’s moving to hear the relic and the wonderworking icon were brought out — St. Panteleimon really does draw people. We had a smaller but similar crowd here for his feast last summer, and the heat didn’t stop anyone either.
