Mnohokňazská slávnosť nájdenia Panny Márie „Ikonistria“ v Skiathosepreložené

Každý prvý júlový víkend sa na ostrove Skiathos oslavuje spomienka na nájdenie zázračnej ikony Panny Márie „Ikonistria“. Tento rok, v sobotu 4. a v nedeľu 5. júla 2026, sa výročie Matky Božej slávilo za prítomnosti najctihodnejšieho pastora, metropolitu Chalkidos pána Chrysostomosa, teofilského biskupa zo Skopelos pána Nikodimosa a pána Skiathos pána Ioannoua – hlavného sekretára Svätej synody Gréckej cirkvi.

V sobotu vo farskom kostole Narodenia Presvätej Bohorodičky (Limnia) odslúžil a kázal Božie slovo na mnohokňazských vešperách presvätý biskup Skiathos pán Ioannis.

V nedeľu 5. júla v tom istom svätom kostole presvätý biskup Skopelos, pán Nikodimos, slúžil na Orthose a potom najctihodnejší metropolita Chalkidos, pán Chrysostomos, predsedal Veľkňazovi Zberateľovi za účasti všetkých vyššie uvedených Veľkňazov a kázal Božie slovo.

Po odvolaní sa uskutočnil sprievod zázračnej ikony Panny Márie ulicami Skiathos a jej uloženie vo Farskom kostole troch hierarchov, kde je ako posvätné paládium uchovávaná počas celého roka.

Хорошо, что в этом году три архиерея собрались на праздник. Особенно отметил, что после литургии икону пронесли по улицам и оставили в храме Трёх Иерархов, как всегда. Интересно, много ли местных в Лимнии было на всенощной в субботу?

كان الاحتفال جميل هالسنة مع الثلاثة أساقفة. أعجبني أنهم حملوا الأيقونة في الشوارع بعد القداس وتركوها في كنيسة الثلاثة الآباء كالعادة. أتساءل إذا كان أهل ليمنيا كثيرين في صلاة السبت أم أكثر زوار؟

Ja, die Prozession durch die Straßen nach der Liturgie und dann die Ikone wieder in der Kirche der Drei Hierarchen – das ist jedes Jahr das Schönste. Drei Bischöfe auf einmal, das kommt nicht oft vor. Ob in Limnia am Samstagabend mehr Einheimische oder Pilger waren, würde mich auch interessieren.

Yeah, the Limnia vigil does feel like the real heart of it with the locals packing in. My cousin was there both days and said the singing was something else, echoing down the hill just like your friend described. Did your daughter end up joining the procession or head back early?
