Contact K. Mitsotakis with the Archbishop of Sinai Symeon about the Monastery of Sinaitranslated

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis contacted the Most Reverend Archbishop of Sinai, Faran and Raitho Mr. Simeon to congratulate him and express to him on behalf of all Greeks his support for the decisions of the Holy Monastery. The Prime Minister stated that the joint position of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Patriarchate of Alexandria, the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the Church of Cyprus and the Church of Greece on the issue of the Holy Monastery of Sinai is a strong and clear message of unity of Ecumenical Hellenism, but also of Eastern Orthodoxy. At the same time, it confirms what Hellenism can achieve when it unites and works methodically.
The agreement between the Holy Monastery and Egypt is a historical intersection that consolidates the legal position of the Holy Monastery and ensures its existence and its Greek Orthodox character in perpetuity.
The Prime Minister and the Archbishop of Sinai made special mention of the personal interest of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the love with which the Egyptian people have always surrounded the Holy Monastery of Sinai.
