Water again on the thirsty lips of childrentranslated

In the village of Kipera, in Central Tanzania, the repair of a drinking water borehole was carried out, in the courtyard of the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen, thanks to the love and practical contribution of our association "Hierapostoliki Stegi". In the poor villages of Tanzania, the need for clean and potable water is great. The infrastructure is minimal and the daily life of people, especially young children, is a constant struggle. The water shortage is made even more severe when thirsty children are forced to travel long distances in search of this precious commodity.
The Holy Metropolis of Arusha, whose missionary work is supported by our association, takes care of the people of the poor and remote villages of Tanzania. By drilling new boreholes and repairing those in need of rehabilitation, it is trying to address the great water shortage and offer clean water to people who are tested every day.
The Church does not limit its ministry only to spiritual care, but, following the example and commandment of Christ's practical love, it stands by man in his every need. He offers water to the thirsty…
