Fthiotidos Simeon: A compass for the new generation, Hagia Sophia and her daughterstranslated

In two celebratory Churches of Agia Sophia and the three daughters of Faith, Hope and Love, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Simeon officiated, on the eve of the feast in Lianokladi of the Municipality of Lamia, in the beautiful old Church, which stands out among the houses and picturesque alleys of the beautiful and fertile village and on the day of holiday, in the newly built Church in the neighborhood of N. Ionia in Lamia.  In his sermon at Lianokladi, the Reverend Mr. Simeon referred to the hymnology of Vespers and specifically analyzed, from the Doxasticus of Apostichs, the following verse: Because you are dyed in your own blood, you are beautiful, the three namesakes of the virtues brothers, to the beauty Christ calls they were incorruptibly concluded".

This was followed by a pandemic Holy Litany of the Icon of Hagia Sophia, which was carried in the hands of children dressed in traditional costumes. The Venerable Mr. Simeon, being in Lianokladi, had a pleasant communication with everyone, while he congratulated the Head of the Parish, Fr. Efstathios Katopi, for the excellent organization and conduct of the Holy Festival, as well as all the collaborators and believers of the Parish.
