How farm children lived in the countrysidetranslated

We all have memories from our childhood. However, memories from a mountain village with an altitude of 1,850 m above sea level in Vigla of Holomont are of particular interest.

Such memories are of interest to both those who spent their childhood in a village and those who did not experience rural life. Primarily, I dedicate these memories to my children and grandchildren who lived and grew up in Thessaloniki, but also to anyone who is interested in knowing how the farm children lived in the village.
Childhood in Mahalas M. Vavdos The memories are many, sweet and nostalgic but I will be forced to limit myself to just one year and an agricultural year at that, watching the stages of growing wheat, barley and oats.
Their cultivation began with the plowing of the fields, which was done with an iron plow and an iron ploughshare, which were sharpened in the fire by the blacksmith to dig the soil well.
