I.M. Prevezi: Youth Priests and Catechists Daytranslated

The 12th Day of Youth Priests and Catechists was held at the Spiritual Center of the Holy Metropolis in Philippiada, on Saturday October 17, 2026, with the general theme "Together for Catechesis". The Consecration for the start of the new catechetical year was performed by the Head of the Youth Office, Panos. Chief Father Agathangelos Kambysis, who then developed the theme "The joy of Catechesis". He emphasized that catechesis is not just a lesson, but the joyful news of God's love for every child. He particularly referred to the need to support small villages, where even the presence of a single child is a reason for the Catechetics to remain alive.

This was followed by four experiential workshops on the topics of children's difficulties, digital tools, storytelling and theater, as well as school congregation. Priests and catechists exchanged experiences and elaborated practical proposals for the renewal of the catechesis ministry.
