With ecclesiastical splendor, on the morning of Monday, October 12, 2026, in the Parish Church of Agios Maximos of Graikou Artis, a multi-priestly Divine Liturgy was performed, in the context of the celebrations for the anniversary of the transfer of the Holy Relic of the Saint. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Patras, Mr. Chrysostomos, presided over the Divine Liturgy in Orthros, with the concelebrants of the Theophilist Bishop of Kernitsis, Mr. Chrysanthos and the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Artis, Mr. Kallinikos.

In his Sermon, the Metropolitan of Patras referred to the personality and spiritual legacy of Saint Maximus the Greek, presenting his example as a testimony of unwavering faith, devotion to Orthodoxy and steadfastness in the confession of truth, despite the trials he faced.

A special blessing for the faithful was the presence of the miraculous Holy Icon of the Holy Great Martyr Fanourios, which was brought from the Old Town of Rhodes by the Protopresbyter Father Michael Kritikou, vicar of the Holy Church of Saint Fanourios, with the blessing of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rhodes Mr. Kyrillos.
