The Consecration of the Tourlotis School Collection and Lending Library Exhibitiontranslated

During the festive period of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, on the evening of Wednesday August 19, 2026, Rev. Metropolitan of Ierapytni and Sitia Mr. Kyrillos performed the Consecration of the Opening of the Tourlotis School Collection & Lending Library Exhibition of the Tourlotis Cultural Association of Sitia, following the invitation of the President of the Association Mr. Dimitrios Mallios. This is the building of the old Tourlotis Primary School, which was renovated after the actions of the Managements of the active Association and its inclusion in the Leader program, following a decision of "Lassithiou Development SA".

After the Consecration, Rev. Mr. Kyrillos congratulated the Board of Directors of the Tourlotis Cultural Association and the President Mr. Mallios, and all those who contributed so that today this beautiful place of culture in an emblematic building of Palaikastro is handed over for use and wished it to be a living cell of culture for the historical area of ​​Palaikastro and especially for the new generation.
