All Saints Sundaytranslated

July 6, 2026 · 1 min read

On All Saints' Sunday (June 7, 2026) our Most Reverend Metropolitan celebrated the Divine Liturgy, presided over the Doxology on the occasion of the celebration of the "Day in honor of the Apostates of the Greek Police", as well as the holy Memorial of those sacrificed during the holocaust of the heroic island of Kasos, which was organized by the Association Kasiot of Rhodes "The Kisser". The president of the Association and President of the Federation of Dodecanese Parish Associations of Rhodes, Mr. Nikolaos Konstantinidis, spoke about this.

It is a good idea to combine All Saints' Sunday with the memorial service of the Kasiots. Mr. Konstantinidis spoke in simple words and moved, as I was told. Had anyone from our parish been there?

Yes, Konstantinidis really speaks to the point, without unnecessary pathos. I wasn’t there either, but I heard that a decent amount of people gathered at the prayer service after the Liturgy. And you ask Father George, I wonder if our people from the parish were there.

Yes, the idea of combining the Ecumenical Saturday of All Saints with the commemoration of the Kaciots is correct. Konstantinidis always speaks to the point, without unnecessary things, and that’s why they listen. I’ll ask the priest if any of our people attended the prayer service after the Liturgy.

I liked that they combined the festival of All Saints with the memorial of those from Kasos. Mr. Konstantínidis always speaks clearly and without embellishment, it shows. Did anyone from our parish go to the bus after the Liturgy?

Yes, that combination seemed good to me too, it unites the memory of the saints with that of those who gave their lives in Kasos. Mr. Konstantínidis always gets to the point, without detours. I couldn't stay at Moliven, but they told me that it was very collected; Did you go, Sofia?
