Holy Vigil in Kiveri with the reception of the Holy Relics of Saint Theodora, Queen of Artatranslated

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Theotokos of Kiveri, the reception of the Holy Relics of Our Lady Theodora, Queen of Artis, was held with special reverence and ecclesiastical rapture, as part of the festive events for the anniversary of the opening of the Holy Church. The Holy Relics were buried by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Artis, Mr. Kallinikos, with the blessing and permission of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Argolis, Mr. Nektarios, offering the faithful the opportunity to worship and honor Saint Theodora, the patron saint of Arta.

Immediately after the reception of the Holy Relics, the High Priestly Vespers followed, officiated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Artis, Mr. Kallinikos. Afterwards, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated, in the context of the Holy Vigil, with the participation of clergy and many believers, who came to the Holy Church to prayerfully participate in this special spiritual opportunity.
