Patriarchate of Jerusalem: The peaceful visit of Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel is a valuable testimony of unity and practical supporttranslated

His warm joy about the fact of the upcoming visit of the Patriarch of Bulgaria, Mr. Daniel in Jerusalem and the Holy Land (September 25-30) is expressed by the Zionist Church.  As emphasized in the announcement of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, this visit is an outstanding testimony of the spiritual and historical ties of the two sister Churches through the centuries. Special mention is made of the time when the peaceful visit will take place, as in recent years the Holy Places have been going through great trials. "This peaceful visit is a valuable testimony of the unity of our Holy Orthodox faith and a practical expression of sympathy and support for the Christian community of the Holy Land", it is noted.

The Patriarchate of Jerusalem characterizes the Patriarchal mass to be celebrated on September 27 at the Holy Sepulcher as a united prayer for peace in the Middle East and the whole world.
