Corfu Nektarios: "The Greek spirit, synonymous with freedom of belief"translated

On the evening of Saturday, July 25, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, went to the celebratory and old-fashioned Holy Monastery of Agia Paraskevi Kenopiaston of Middle Corfu, where he officiated at the Great Solemn Vespers of the feast of the Holy Martyr Paraskevi. In the historic Holy Monastery lives a small female brotherhood, under the spiritual guidance of this Professor, nun Nymphodora. The participation of the holy clergy and pious people was particularly large, as a large number of believers came to honor the memory of Saint Paraskevi, the Great Martyr, and to receive her blessing.

Among the clergy who participated in the celebration was His Eminence Archimandrite Mr. Chrysostomos Koutsouris, Professor of the Holy Monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos Platyteras, who is also a spiritual member of the Holy Monastery's brotherhood.
