National Memorial to Agios Tychos in Limassoltranslated

On the Sunday after the Elevation of the Holy Cross, the Most Reverend Bishop Amathoustos Mr. Nikolaos officiated at the holy church of Agios Tychonas in the community of the same name. The Divine Liturgy was attended by the Minister of Health Mr. Neophytos Charalambidis, the President of the E.O.A. Mr. Yiannis Tsouloftas, Members of Parliament, the Mayor Amathoustos Mr. Kyriakos Xydias, the Deputy Mayor Ag. Tychona Mr. Heraklis Herakleous et al.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Holiness Theophilus held the memorial service for the hero of 1974, Heraklis Christofis Agathokleous, and after the Divine Liturgy, the trisago to the statue of the hero located at the entrance of the community.

Wreath-laying followed.
