Reception of Metropolitan Filippos Stefanos at I.M.M. Vatopediou (PHOTO)translated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Philippi, Neapolis and Thasos Mr. Stefanos was welcomed on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, by the Abbot of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi and the Vatopedi brotherhood on the feast of the Synagogue of the Vatopedi Saints. The Venerable Mr. Stefanos came to the Monastery as an invitee of Elder Ephraim and the Brotherhood to preside over the festival of the Synagogue of Vatopedin Saints. The reception of the Metropolitan of Philippi took place in accordance with the monastic order and saintly tradition at the entrance of the Monastery, immediately afterwards they went in procession to its Catholic Church where a Mass was held upon the arrival of His Eminence. During his attendance at the Catholic Church of the Monastery, Metropolitan Mr. Stefanos worshiped the Agia Zoni of the Most Holy Theotokos.
