One Anointing and two Baptisms in the Metropolis of Swedentranslated

Today, in the Cathedral of St. George in Stockholm, after the High Priestly Divine Liturgy, which was celebrated by the Most Reverend Bishop of Elia, Mr. Bartholomeus, and during which the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Sweden and all Scandinavia, Mr. Kleopas, spoke about the Metastasis of St. John the Theologian, celebrated today, we had the special joy and blessing to perform the Chrismation of the adult Luke, the baptism of the adult Anna, as well as the baptism of the infant Gabriel.

It is a special blessing of the Triune God that in our Cathedral, as in all the Parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Sweden and all of Scandinavia, a rich spiritual life develops and Holy Mysteries are celebrated.

Thus, the life and ministry of our Church continue and are renewed spiritually, with the inclusion of new members of all ages in the Body of Christ.

We praise the Triune God for this great gift and invoke the embassies of Saint John the Theologian for all the newly enlightened and their families.
