Today, Friday, October 16, 2026, the two-day work organized by the General Directorate of Public Health and Social Care of the Region of North Macedonia and Thrace began today, with the theme: "Public Health and Social Challenges - From birth to old age", which takes place on the occasion of Public Health and Social Care Week. The event was a meeting point for institutional bodies, mental health experts and representatives of civil society, with the aim of raising awareness, strengthening and improving the support structures of vulnerable groups, for the benefit of our fellow human beings.

During the two-day event, the Regional Governor of Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Christodoulos Topsidis, presented an honorary plaque to our Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Panteleimon, in recognition of the organized structures, the psychosocial support programs and the solidarity initiatives implemented daily by our Holy Metropolis, offering a safe network of protection to our fellow human beings who are being tested.
