Metropolitan of Veria: "Saint Luke always turned to the Virgin Mary"translated

On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 4, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Berea, Naoussa and Campania Mr. Panteleimon officiated at Vespers and the Great Prayer of the Blessed Virgin Mary and preached the divine word in the Holy Church of Saint Luke the Physician, in the Holy Monastery of Panagia Dobra Berioa. At the end of the service, His Holiness, as every Tuesday evening during the celebration of the Prayer of Saint Luke the Physician, read the relevant wish, while a large number of pilgrims came to venerate the graceful holy relic of the miraculous Saint, which is treasured in the Holy Monastery.

The Most Reverend Metropolitan, preaching the divine word, mentioned among other things: We sang today before the holy icons of Panagia Tricherousi and Gorgoepikou, before the praise of the Lady Theotokos Saint Gerasimos the hymn writer, Mikrajananitus, but also before the holy relics of the saint Luke, the physician and miracle worker, the third Prayer of this year's Fifteenth August in honor of our Virgin Mary.

And what did we tell her? "In times of confusion they brought a port... and in sicknesses quick help", recognizing also two properties of the Most Holy Theotokos who...
