It's true, the kids notice when we say one thing on Sunday and do another the rest of the week. My own niece stopped coming after she saw a couple of the parish council guys arguing in the parking lot like it was nothing. Makes you wonder how much better we'd do if we just tried to live what we preach, even in the small stuff.

Yeah, the kids pick up on that stuff quick. My son’s in elementary and he already notices when someone skips fasting but lectures about it at coffee hour. Photini, that parking lot story sounds exactly like what drives them away. We’ve got to do better just by being consistent day to day.
