Provincial Synod of Australia: A book was published with the Lives of the Pastors of the Fifth Continenttranslated

The work of the Holy Provincial Synod of the Archdiocese of Australia continued for a second day, yesterday, Wednesday, July 29, which meets on an extraordinary basis, under the Presidency of Rev. Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios. After the opening prayer, the Minutes of the previous Sessions were ratified and, subsequently, the Holy Synod proceeded to examine the issues included in the Agenda.

One of the topics studied is the preparation of the celebratory and anniversary event, which will take place in Constantinople on October 22, 2026, on the occasion of the completion of 35 years since the election of the A.Th.P., our Ecumenical Patriarch, to the pan-sept Apostolic and Patriarchal Throne of Saint Andrew the First. The Archbishop and the accompanying High Priests studied the details of the pilgrimage and the manifestation, while once again they bless and congratulate the young people of the Christian Union of Sydney, who have taken care of the program.

In an atmosphere of joy, also, the members of the Holy Synod received the well-published book of the Most Reverend Archbishop of Australia under the title: "Lives and journeys...
