Sparta Efstathios: Any requests we make to the Virgin Mary should be accompanied by unceasing prayertranslated

On the main day of the great feast of the Mother of God of the Dormition of the Virgin, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Monemvasia and Sparta, Mr. Efstathios, prefect of the solemn Orthros, blessed the breads and celebrated the Sacrament of the Eucharist in the eponymous Holy Church in the Paradise of Neapolis, which is located in a beautiful natural environment. Before the Dismissal, the Pastor addressed his melodious speech to the pious Christians, who had flooded the Church and the surrounding area.

His Holiness, speaking of the Mother of God and Mother of all of us by grace, pointed out Her bottomless love for people and Her mediating role while underlining that any of our requests should be accompanied by continuous prayer, sincere repentance, forgiveness and humility. In conclusion, he wished the congregation many years and a blessed day!
