On the morning of Friday, October 16, a priestly mass was held in the Old Metropolitan Church of the Holy First Apostles Paul and Peter of Berea on the occasion of the feast of All Saints in Berea. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Veroia, Nausis and Campania, Mr. Panteleimon, who also preached the divine word, co-officiated with the Theophilist Bishop Domenikos, Mr. Athenagoros, who officiated at Orthros.

The Patriarch of the Holy Metropolis Archim. Dimitrios Baklagis supervised the ecclesiastical order.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a Doxology was performed for the 114th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Turkish yoke in the presence of the representative of the Hellenic Government, Deputy Minister of Development Mr. Lazaros Tsavdaridis, political and military authorities, representatives of organizations, cultural and professional associations and a large number of Veronians.

This was followed by a trisage and laying of wreaths on the hero of the city and the customary military and student parade on Mitropoleos Street.
