Dedicated to the former Archbishop of America Dimitrios, the naming dinner of Archbishop Elpidophorostranslated

More than 650 prelates, clergy, representatives of the diaspora and benefactors attended the fourth annual naming dinner of the Most Reverend Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidophoros, held on November 2, 2026, at Pier 60 in New York. The evening was also dedicated to the life and ministry of the former Archbishop of America Mr. Dimitrios. At the same time, the event continued the effort to strengthen the camp programs of the Holy Archdiocese of America, through the scholarship fund of the Youth Summer Camps. Among the officials present were the Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations, Ambassador Aglaia Balta, the Consul General of Greece in New York, Ifigenia Kanara, and the Consul General of the Republic of Cyprus in New York, Kyriakos Pogiatzis.

In the four years of the event, more than 1.6 million dollars have been collected for scholarships to participate in the Ionian Village and the Metropolitan and Archdiocese camps.
