Archbishop Makarios: Every blow of Homogenia in Australia shouts Greecetranslated

"Hellenism lives and flourishes even here in distant Australia and as long as our Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and the Ecumenical Patriarchate exist in these lands, as long as the Orthodox priest conducts the Liturgy in Greek, Hellenism has a future and we are not afraid of anything."

This resounding and optimistic message was broadcast by the Most Reverend Archbishop of Australia, Mr. Makarios, welcoming the Minister of National Defense of Greece, Mr. Nikolaos Dendias, at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese, in Sydney, on Thursday, July 16.

On the occasion of the visit of Mr. Dendias, a Doxology was performed on his reception at the Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Virgin.
