On Sunday, September 13, 2026, a special drive will be held in all the Holy Churches of the Holy Metropolis of Florina, Prespa and Eordaia to support the earthquake victims of Colombia. The strong earthquake that hit the country on August 10, 2026 caused great destruction, leaving behind dead, injured and many people in particularly difficult living conditions.

From the first moment, the Holy Metropolis of Mexico has been close to the people who are being tested, with the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mexico Mr. Iakovos making a significant effort to support those affected and meet their immediate needs.

Also special is the presence of the Theophilist Bishop of Assos, Mr. Timotheus, who ministers in Colombia and is close to the affected every day, offering food, medicine and all possible help.
