The Church appointed us, through its holy God-giving Fathers, every Sunday and every day to read a part of the Holy Bible for the building of our salvation in Christ.

Although we are already living more than two thousand years after the historical first presence of the God-man Jesus Christ in the world, because God "wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth", our Church, with its exhortation, calls us, reading the Holy Bible, to become partakers of the salvific goods of the gospel message of the kingdom of God.

Our Church as "the prolonged Jesus in the age", gives us the same opportunities that the people who lived in the years of Christ and his disciples had.

Thus, as then, others of us listening to the Word of God, we will follow Christ faithfully until martyrdom, like his disciples, striving unceasingly to carry out Christ's commands, with the practical manifestation of our love for the poor, the sick, the homeless, the imprisoned, the elderly, the needy and orphaned children, those who need us and we can them…
