Metropolitan of Rethymno: Wishes for a good racing season with health at the consecration of the Episcopacytranslated

In a cheerful atmosphere and with wishes for health and competitive success, the established consecration ceremony for the new competitive year was held in Episkopi, earlier in the afternoon of September 4, 2026, at the "Pavlos I. Vardinogiannis" stadium in Gallos. The consecration was performed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos, in the presence of members of the Episcopal administration, as well as the team's technical staff and football players.

The ceremony was also attended, representing the municipal authority of the Municipality of Rethymno, by the Deputy Mayor of Sports and Education, Nikos Provias, the President of the Municipal Community of Episkopi, Eleni Kambouraki, the President of the EPS Rethymno Giorgos Xirakis, the President of the Association of Rethymno Football Referees, Michalis Voskakis, friends and supporters of group.

Addressing those present, the Metropolitan thanked the recently elected President of the group, Michalis Nikolidakis, for the invitation and addressed his wishes to all members of the club. Good to see the bishop there blessing the new season at the Pavlos I. Vardinogiannis ground. Nice that they had the whole squad, the new president Michalis Nikolidakis and even the mayor's sports guy Nikos Provias turn up. Hope the lads stay healthy and the team has a solid year.
