Nikolaos Mesogaias: "Meeting Fr. Loukas Vatopaidinos and his advice for the Palliative Care "Galilea"translated

In his speech about Fr. Loukas Vatopaidinos at the honorary Scientific Conference entitled: "Hippocrates in the State of God" held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in the Magnine Amphitheater of the Areteio Hospital of Athens, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Nikolaos of Mesogaia and Laureotiki referred to his acquaintance with the blessed Professor Panagiotis Dimakakos of Vascular Surgery, who, after his retirement from the University, became a monk in the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, taking the name Loukas. His Holiness referred to the scientist, the teacher and the man who dedicated his life to healing, knowledge and service to fellow man. The topics of bioethics and palliative care were the reason for their communication and connection.
