Ioannikios of Mavrovouniu in the Metropolis of Patrastranslated

The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Montenegro and Parathalasia, Mr. Ioannikios, visited yesterday, September 9, 2026, the Holy Church of St. Andrew the Apostle in Patras, where he worshiped the relics and the cross of St. Andrew the Apostle. The Metropolitan of Mavrovouni was accompanied on his visit by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aegialia Mr. Ieronymos. Metropolitan Ioannikios and Metropolitan Hieronymos were welcomed to the Holy Church of Agios Andreas by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Patras Mr. Chrysostomos.

We remind you that the Reverend Metropolitan of Montenegro and Parathalassia, Mr. Ioannikios, during his visit to the Metropolis of Kalavryta and Aegialia, celebrated Divine Liturgy the day before yesterday at the Holy Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Plataniotissa, on the occasion of the feast of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Also, accompanied by the Metropolitan of Kalavryta and Aegialia Mr. Ieronymos, on September 7 he visited the Monastery of Megalos Spileos, as well as the Monastery of Agia Lavra in Kalavryta, where he worshiped the relics of Saint Philaret the Merciful and Saint Alexios the Man of God.
