Divine Liturgy for the completion of 25 years since the founding of the Metropolis of Arkalochoritranslated

On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, on the feast of the Repatriation of the Holy Relics of Saint Great Martyr George the Trophy Bearer, in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Saint Andrew, Archbishop of Crete of Jerusalem in Arkalochori, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arkalochori Mr. Andreas officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy. The Divine Liturgy had an anniversary character, as during the autumn of this year twenty-five years were completed since the establishment of the Holy Metropolis (2001-2026), and on November 3, 2021, since the ordination after the election by lot, of its first Metropolitan, Reverend Mr. Andreou.

The clergy of the Holy Metropolis officiated or celebrated together praying the twenty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the Holy Metropolis.

After those present, His Eminence thanked them for their presence and wished the Holy Metropolis to continue its course with a spirit of unity, love and offering to the people of God, with the grace and blessing of our Lord, Saint Andrew, Archbishop of Crete and Saint Marina.

Afterwards, His Eminence ordained the Hieropaeda Marino Aslanis as Reader.
