Beginning of the 2nd camping period of the Diocese of Thiratranslated

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the 2nd camp season began for the day camps of the Diocese of Thira, which accommodate approximately 35 children. On the morning of the first day, the consecration for the start of this new period was performed by Fr. Ignatios, youth manager of the Metropolis, and then, along with breakfast, the camp executives, its general rules and the four groups, into which they were divided, were presented to the new campers. Again each group has a leader-patron from the holy Child Martyrs.

Two big games followed, the naming game and the "Post Office", in which the children happily exhausted themselves preparing them for the first lunch.

At the end of the meal we had the entertainment from the team leaders this time but also the first team who had the responsibility for the day's entertainment, to be followed by hilarious games, with balloons, flour and chocolate, which were also the happy climax of the first day.
