The annual pilgrimage of the Orthodox faithful to Greece was the subject of a report on the news bulletin of Ivory Coast's state-run RTI television station. The event is under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ivory Coast, Mr. Alassane Dramane Ouattara, and was funded by his Government.

"We express our warm and heartfelt thanks to His Excellency the President for his continuous support for the peaceful and equal coexistence of all Churches and religious Confessions in his country", reports the Holy Diocese of Accra.
