Leros: The parish of Osia Irini Chrysovalantou celebrated its patron sainttranslated

With splendor and Byzantine magnificence, the memory of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou was celebrated again this year, in the Parish of the same name on the island of Leros. Magnificent and properly dignified, the Church, decorated with flags, with joyous bells, invited the faithful to celebrate her memory. On the evening of Monday 27.7.2026 and before the High Priestly Vespers, our Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Paisios performed the Consecration of the Tyrannicals of the holy shrine in the name of Agios Christophers, which is located in front of the Holy Church on the ground floor of the belfry.
Afterwards, the Grand Solemn Hierarchical Vespers service of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Leros, Mr. Paisios, was solemnly performed, with the co-prayer of the Theophilest Bishop of Stratonikeia, Mr. Stefanos.
The High Priests were flanked by the High Priestly Commissioner in Leros, archpriest of the Ecumenical Throne, Fr. Nikodimos Fokas, the vicar of the celebrating Church, Fr.
