Larisis Hieronymos: The martyrdom of our time, trying to live according to God and the world hating youtranslated

Today, July 27, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Ieronymos, went to the Holy Hermitage of Panagia Glykofiloussa Rapsanis, in order to celebrate the holy celebration of the basement of the Holy Temple of Hermitage, which is honored in the name of Saint Panteleimon the healer and miracle worker. His Holiness was welcomed by the Priestess of the Hermitage, Gerontissa Maria, and Sister Makrina, as well as a large number of people. In his sermon, His Holiness, taking the occasion from the Gospel passage, referred to the word of the Lord about the ingratitude of his modern generation, which is reflected in the phrase "now and hourly and half-timely". His Eminence emphasized that Christ's generation saw him do so many miracles, benefit, manifest the charity of the Holy God and yet instead of all these being attracted to the love of God, they led to hatred against the Son of God, a hatred that ultimately led to Christ's death on the cross.
