Visit of pilgrims from Pefka Thessaloniki to Metropolitan Florinistranslated
On the afternoon of Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Floris, Prespa and Eordaia Mr. Irenaios was visited by a group of pilgrims from Pefka (Retziki) Thessaloniki, led by Fr. Neapolis and Stavroupolis. The pilgrims were in our area as part of a pilgrimage and excursion visit, during which they had the opportunity to get to know Prespes and other places of special interest in Florina.
A hearty discussion developed during the meeting, while the visitors were informed about the history, spiritual tradition and life of the local Church.
Afterwards, the Metropolitan and the pilgrims sat down in a dining area next to the river Sakuleva, continuing their cordial communication.
His Holiness thanked Fr. Ioannis and the members of the group for their visit and wished them a good return, health and God's blessing in their lives and families.
