Feast of Saint Tabitha, the Merciful Patron of the Charitable Funds of I.M. Kifissiatranslated

The memory of Saint Tabitha the Merciful was celebrated in the Holy Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul of Pefki, our Diocese, as she is the patron of the funds of the charitable and welfare work of the Diocese. On the eve of the feast, the Grand High Priestly Vespers was celebrated by our Reverend Pastor, Metropolitan of Kifissia, Amarousios, Oropos and Marathon Mr. Kyrillos, president of the Central Board of Directors of the Charity Fund of the Holy Metropolis, supported by the Secretary of the Central Philanthropic Fund of Metropolitan Archimandrite Fr. Efstratiou Delatolas, priests of the Metropolis, and the participation of the Presidents and Members of the Administrative Committees of the parishes of our Holy Metropolis.

Before the Dismissal, His Holiness spoke to the congregation, mentioning among other things that: "God is philanthropic and merciful and calls every person to imitate His love, offering help to fellow human beings in need.
