Kisamos Amphilochios: On the face of Prophet Jonah, each one may recognize his own facetranslated

The memory of the glorious Prophet Jonah was celebrated in the venerable and first Panhellenic beautiful Church, dedicated to the Prophet Jonah, which is located in Anoskeli Kisamos. A pious dedication from the blessed family of Demetrios and Maria Stephanoudaki and their children, for the completion of the term. The evening liturgy was chanted by the Right Reverend Metropolitan of Kisamos Archbishop Amphilochios, who commemorated "with gratitude and reverence the blessed and pious founders and donors Demetrios and Maria Stephanoudaki, as well as their blessed son Demetrios," thanking also the "blessed, talented, and skilled family in the presence of the honored Hieromonk Cherubim, brother of the Holy Stavropigial and Synodic Monastery Symeon the New Theologian, Kalamos Attica."

Referring to the glorious Prophet Jonah, he noted: "On the face of the Prophet Jonah, each one may recognize his own face.
