The National Congress of the Union of Romanian Orthodox Christian Students has begun in Bucharesttranslated

The National Congress of the Association of Romanian Orthodox Christian Students (ASCOR) began on Friday in Bucharest, bringing together representatives of branches from university centers across the country. The inauguration took place at the School of Orthodox Theology "Justinian the Patriarch" of the University of Bucharest. The program started with the Divine Liturgy held in the chapel of "Saint Catherine" – chapel in the University and continued in the IG Coman Amphitheater of the theological educational institution.
On this occasion, Professor Nicușor Beldiman, and patriarchal adviser in the Theological-Educational Sector of the Patriarchal Administration, conveyed to the participants the blessing of His Beatitude the Patriarch of Romania, Mr. Daniel and emphasized that the event is "a good opportunity for analysis and planning of new activities".
"The numerous activities undertaken so far show that you know and live to a great extent the sacred connection that exists between the Mass and charity, between prayer and Christian action."
