Homogene junge Leute aus Australien in Rethymnonübersetzt

In den Räumlichkeiten des Zentrums für Kultur- und Sozialministerium „Theomitor“ der Heiligen Metropole Rethymno und Avlopotamos war in diesen Tagen eine Gruppe junger Expatriates aus Australien zu Gast, die sich im Rahmen des bevorstehenden Weltkonzils der Kreter, das in der Orthodoxen Akademie von Kreta stattfinden wird, auf Kreta aufhielten. Die betreffenden Jugendlichen besuchten in Begleitung des Präsidenten und ihrer Mitarbeiter am Sonntag, dem 19. Juli 2026, im Rahmen einer Pilgerreise das Heilige Patriarchal- und Stavropigiaki-Kloster von Arkadi, wo sie an der göttlichen Liturgie teilnahmen und durch das Heilige Kloster geführt wurden.

Nach der göttlichen Liturgie trafen sie sich im Heiligen Kloster von Arkadiou mit dem Metropoliten von Rethymnon und Avlopotamos, Herrn Prodromos, der mit den Kindern über den diesjährigen 160. Jahrestag des arkadischen freiwilligen Opfers sprach und ihnen wünschte, dass sie stets ihre Wurzeln, ihren Glauben, ihre Kultur und ihre Liebe zum Mutterland bewahren.

Der Präsident und die Jugendlichen überreichten Seiner Eminenz Gedenkgeschenke und erhielten den Segen des Heiligen Klosters Arkadi, während sie in den Räumlichkeiten des „Theomitor“-Zentrums sehr schöne traditionelle kretische Tänze tanzten.
