Assembly of the Saints in Rhodestranslated

On the 4th Sunday of Lent (March 22, 2026), our Holy Metropolis celebrated the Remembrance of all the Saints who shined in Rhodes, centered on the Cathedral Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos. The holy relics of the Holy Neomartyr Constantine of Hydria and the Holy Hieromartyr Clement Bishop of Ankara, as well as the holy Kara of the Holy Father Meletius of Ypseni, had been transferred to the holy Church for the worship and sanctification of the faithful. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Tamiatheos Mr. Germanos (Patriarch of Alexandria), co-officiating with the Theophilist Bishops of Olympus Mr. Kyrillos and Mr. Fanouriou of Tyan. Before the Dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the established, since 2006, memorial service was held for the venerable Metropolitans of Rhodes, the Clergy of the Holy Metropolis, the founders and benefactors of the Orthodox Community of Rhodes and the benefactors of our local Church. The divine speech was preached by our Most Reverend Metropolitan, who in conclusion thanked the holy High Priests and congratulated the person who received the nomenclature of His Holiness the Protosygello Mr. Theonas Kamperis.
