In the context of Greece's humanitarian support to Lebanon, Greece, through Hellenic Aid of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, financed a €500,000 program for the "Saint George" University Hospital of the Orthodox Metropolis of Beirut, which is implemented by the World Health Organization (WHO). The contribution concerns the provision of critical "Life-Saving and Limb-Saving Hospitalization" services to the most vulnerable groups of the population.
