21 years after the "Helios" tragedy: The small church that kept the memory of Mary alivetranslated

This year marks twenty-one years since Black Sunday, August 14, 2005, when time stood still for 121 people. The crash of Helios Airways Flight 522 at Grammatiko Attica is not just the biggest aviation tragedy in the history of the Republic of Cyprus. The fatal Boeing 737-31S had taken off on the morning of August 14 from Larnaca, bound for Prague with a scheduled stopover at the "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport in Athens. The aircraft was carrying 115 passengers and six crew members. Among them were 22 children, while twelve passengers were of Greek origin.
