A message for the start of the new school year 2026 - 2027 is sent by the Metropolitan of Nea Ionia, Mr. Gabriel, in which he invites the students to look for something much more tangible than the anxiety of how many likes they have collected or the impression of some of our Internet achievements. "Our classrooms are in fact the most beautiful laboratories of society. The world we want to build tomorrow is tested there every day. So let's make our vision bigger and the evil smaller, whatever form it takes", states His Holiness, among others.

Dear Students and Teachers,

In front of the new road that opens for the joy of knowledge and the beauty of discovery, we celebrate the established consecration, asking our Christ to grant peace, justice and wisdom for this school year.

We ask him to really open your heart to the joy of meeting others, with your classmates and teachers, with your parents and friends, discovering the great value of belonging somewhere, sharing, collaborating, creating and finally moving forward…
