Maximos of Ioannina: Three historic schools in the Municipality of Ioannina - "Everyone came out victorious"translated

The successful outcome of the long-term negotiations between the Holy Metropolis of Ioannina, the Municipality and the National Bank was mentioned in the Ioannina TV news report by Metropolitan Mr. Maximos. The occasion was the official grant of three historic school complexes to the Municipality of Ioannito, a development that fully satisfies all the involved bodies.

As His Eminence pointed out, the process was complex and required time, as the constant goal remained to maintain the educational use of the buildings for the benefit of the students. At the same time, he praised the contribution of the Mayor both in the procedural part and in observing the necessary discretion until the finalization of the decisions.

The benefits of the agreement and the complete renovation of the buildings

The end result turned out to be mutually beneficial:

For the National Bank: Freed from a "red" loan.

For the Charitable Stores:  They are permanently closing a backlog of years.

For the Municipality of Ioannito: Acquires three historical properties, fully arranged urban planning and with all legal documents.
