Naxos Honors Saint Nikodemos the Hagiorite on His Feast Daytranslated

The Great Feast Vespers were celebrated with great solemnity in honor of Saint Nikodemos the Hagiorite at the Holy Parish Church of the city of Naxos on the evening of Monday, July 13, 2026. The Most Reverend Bishop of Christoupolis, Bishop Barnabas, presided at the service, delivering the divine homily following the address of the Most Reverend Archpastor. He was assisted by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Nikopolis and Preveza, Bishop Chrysostom, the Most Reverend Bishop of Keramoi, Bishop Bartholomew, and the Most Reverend Archpastor, Metropolitan of Paros and Naxos, Bishop Callinicus.
Priests from Naxos, Paros, and other regions of Greece participated in the Vespers. A large crowd of pilgrims filled the church dedicated to Saint Nikodemos, including the Police Director of the Cyclades, Colonel Constantine Agiasofitis, the Commanders of the Naxos Police Station and Drimali Police Station, the Naxos Harbor Master, and the President of the Naxos Bar Association.
Following the conclusion of Vespers, a Divine Vigil was held, concluding in the early morning hours.
Similarly, in Glyfada on Naxos, Feast Vespers were celebrated at the church of Saint Nikodemos, with the Most Reverend... presiding.
